The PTX5000 Packet Transport Router has two redundant, load-sharing PDUs. Each
PDU is hot-insertable and hot-removable. The PDU weighs 60 lb (27.2 kg). Each input
power tray weighs 1.6 lb (0.7 kg).
To remove a PDU:
Switch off the customer-site circuit breakers to the PDU being removed.

Move the power switch on the PDU to the off (
