The PTX5000 Packet Transport Router has two redundant, load-sharing PDUs. Each
PDU is hot-insertable and hot-removable. The High Capacity Delta AC PDU weighs 63.3 lb
(28.7 kg).
To remove a High Capacity Delta AC PDU:
Switch off the customer-site circuit breakers to the PDU that is being removed.

Move the power switch located on the faceplate of the PDU to the standby ( )

NOTE: After powering off a PDU, you must wait at least 60 seconds before
