Context

Description
This command configures IPv6 for a router interface.
The no form of the command disables IPv6 on the interface.

Description
This command assigns an IPv6 address to the interface.

Parameters
ipv6-address/prefix-length — Specify the IPv6 address on the interface.
eui-64 — When the eui-64 keyword is specified, a complete IPv6 address from the supplied prefix
dad-disable
Syntax
[no] dad-disable
Context
config>router>interface>ipv6
Description
This command disables duplicate address detection (DAD) on a per-interface basis. This prevents the
router from performing a DAD check on the interface. All IPv6 addresses of an interface with DAD
disabled, immediately enter a preferred state, without checking for uniqueness on the interface. This
