TWAMP Test Session End and PM Retrieval
The official end of the active TWAMP test session phase is declared when the sender sends a
ʺstop‐sessionsʺ control message. This is the same message and format as OWAMP with the
following exceptions:
• The next seqno must be set to zero
• The number of skip ranges must be set to 0.
• The message must not contain any session descriptor records or skip ranges.
TWAMP does not use the fetch‐session command used in OWAMP and does not rely upon
any metrics collected at the session‐reflector. All PM statistics are collected at the session‐
sender.
TWAMP Configuration on the NCTE
Configuring TWAMP on the NCTE involves the following steps:

is possible to view its current status.
