Click the View Detail button to display the information of the specific entry.

The fields that can be configured are described below:

Enter the system maximum address.
Select the unit you want to configure.
Use the drop-down menus to select a range of ports to configure.
Use the drop-down menu to enable or disable Port Security (locked MAC address
table for the selected ports).
Specifies the action that will be taken when the number of secure MAC addresses,
learned on the port, reaches the maximum limit. Selecting the Drop option, specifies
that when the number of secure MAC addresses reaches the maximum learned on
the port, new entries will be dropped. This is the default setting. Selecting the
Shutdown option, specifies that when the number of secure MAC addresses reaches
the maximum learned on the port, the port will be shut down and enter the error-
disabled state immediately. The port state is recovered only by enabling the port
manually. The shutdown action only applies to port-level security settings.
This drop-down menu allows the option of how the MAC address table locking will be
implemented on the Switch, for the selected group of ports. The options are:
Permanent – The locked addresses will never age out unless users manually delete
the entries, reboot or reset the Switch.
DeleteOnTimeout – The locked addresses will age out after the aging timer expires.
DeleteOnReset – The locked addresses will not age out until the Switch has been
reset or rebooted.
Specify the maximum value of port security entries that can be learned on this port.

Description
Click the radio button and enter a VLAN name.
Click the radio button and enter a list of VLAN ID.
Enter the maximum number of port security entries that can be learned by this VLAN.
If this parameter is set to 0, it means that no user can be authorized on this VLAN.
If the setting is lower than the number of current learned entries on the VLAN, the
