Ingredients
For the dough:
150 g low fat quark
5 tbsp milk
6 tbsp oil
1 medium egg
80 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
3 tsp vanilla sugar
300 g plain fl our, sifted
3 tsp baking powder
For the streusel:
350 g plain fl our, sifted
200 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of ground cinammon
200 g butter
For the poppyseed fi lling:
2 packets of ready made
poppyseed mix, 250 g each
3 medium eggs
>> Tip:
Marzipan or hazelnut spread can
be used instead of the poppyseed
mix.

Baking

Poppyseed streusel

1 tray

Pass the quark through a
sieve, then stir in the milk,
oil, egg, sugar, salt and vanilla
sugar. Sift the fl our and baking
powder and knead into the
quark mix.

Roll the dough out onto the
universal tray.

Mix the fl our with the sugar,
salt and cinammon for the
streusel. Melt the butter and
mix in. Work the mixture into a
coarse crumbly texture.

Mix the poppyseed mixture
with the eggs and spread
over the cake dough.

Scatter the streusel evenly
over the top and bake.
