Ingredients
350 g strong white fl our
150 g rye fl our
1 tsp salt
25 g fresh yeast or 1 sachet
of dried yeast
300 ml lukewarm milk

Farmhouse bread

Makes 1 loaf

Mix the salt and fl our in a
bowl. Crumble the yeast
into the milk and add to the
fl our. Knead for 10 minutes to a
smooth dough.

Cover with a damp cloth and
leave to prove for approx.
1 hour.

Shape the dough into a
round loaf and dust with a
little fl our. Cut 1 cm deep slashes
into the surface and leave to
prove for a further 30 minutes.

Place the bread on the
universal tray and bake it
(see below for settings).
