Connection menu

Purpose
The connection menu allows the operator to manage (provisioning, service type etc.) the
client/line traffic. The menu options are:
TDM - Allows to set the SONET service

Data - Allows to set the Point-to-Point cross-connection services. The options are:

– Create XC
– Search/delete XC - Allows to perform the searching and deleting procedures.

Select Connection -> TDM as shown in
Figure 3-8 Connection - TDM
The Search tab displays the Search Cross-Connections panel that contains the
following:
Search Type - Allows to select XConnection or Protection legs:

– Using Specific STS Type Commands (RTRV-CONF-STSn or RTRV-CRS-
– Using Circuit Identifier (RTRV-CKTID) for a searching identified by the circuit
