Modify BITS-1 - Allows the page to search and edit bit 1 related to a given
shelf.
Modify BITS-OUT - Allows the page to search and edit bit out related to a
given shelf.

Modify Synch. - Opens the "Modify Synchronization" page.
Modify Out Synch. - Opens the "Modify Synchronization Outgoing" page.
Modify Switch Synch. - Opens the Modify "Synchronization Switch" page.
Initialize System - The options are:
– With New Release - For a general upgrading of the software.
– With Old Release - For a software refresh.
In-Service Upgrade - Allows to manage the in-service upgrading.
– Upgrade Status - For retrieving the status of the ongoing upgrade
procedure.
– Start Upgrade - For preparing the system for activation of the new release.
– Stop Upgrade - For altering the in-service upgrade procedure and reverts
the system to the state before the Start Upgrade option was issued.
– Remove Old Upgrade - For making the current release software as
permanent active software.
DataBase - For Database management
– Perform DB Backup - Backs up the primary backup data base to the
secondary backup data base
– Cancel DB Backup - Cancels (aborts) a database backup currently in
progress
– Restore DB - Copies the backup database stored on secondary backup
database to the primary backup database and resets the system to activate
the new database.
– DB Information - Reads the database label of the selected backup
database stored on the NE.
Remote File - For Data Base Remote File Server management
– Perform Copy - Copies secondary backup database on the NE from/to
specified locations on a Remote File Server (RFS).
– Cancel Copy - Interrupts an in-progress file transfer previously initiated.
