8. Fully tilt the outboard motor up, and then
support it with the tilt stop lever.
WARNING
After tilting up the outboard motor, be
sure to support it with the tilt stop lever.
Otherwise, the outboard motor could sud-
denly lower if the PTT unit should lose
fluid pressure.
9. Tighten the trim sensor screws 2.
10. Fully tilt the outboard motor down.
NOTE:
• Check the trim sensor resistance again
after tightening the trim sensor screws 2
and fully tilting the outboard motor down.
• To check the trim sensor, see Chapter 7,
"Checking the trim sensor."
