2. Clean the power unit mating surface, and
install the dowels 1 and a new gasket

3. Install the power unit by installing the
bolts 3 and 4, and then tightening them
to the specified torque.

Be sure to install the shift rod assembly onto
the bottom cowling before installing the
power unit.
Power unit mounting bolt 3 and 4:
42 N·m (4.2 kgf·m, 31.0 ft·lb)
4. Install the upper case cover 5 and
aprons 6.

bolt:
8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.9 ft·lb)
5. Install the speed sensor coupler 7 to the
bracket.

9, trim sensor coupler 0, isolator cou-
pler A, water detection switch coupler
(blue) B, PTT switch coupler C, 10-pin
main harness coupler D, LAN communi-
cation coupler (white) E, and then install
them onto the brackets.
