An optional management server can be installed to run EFCM Basic.
The minimum specifications are described below.
The server can be rack mounted in an equipment cabinet. The EFCM
Basic interface or management server is required to install, configure,
and manage the switch.
The management server provides two auto-detecting 10/100 Mbps
Ethernet LAN connectors (RJ-45 adapters). The first adapter (LAN 1)
attaches (optionally) to a public customer intranet to allow access
from remote user workstations. The second adapter (LAN 2) attaches
to a private LAN segment containing switches or managed IBM
products.
