D Transmitting an RTTY memory

Previously entered characters can be sent using the
RTTY memory. Contents of the memory are enter in
the RTTY Memory (Edit) screen.
In the RTTY mode, push

times to select the "M-2" screen (Menu M-2).
Touch [DEC](
D) to display the RTTY decoder

screen.
• Touch [WIDE](D) to toggle the decode screen size be-
tween normal and wide.
Touch [RTM](
D) to display the RTTY memory

screen.
Touch [
u](D) to select the memory group to trans-

mit.
• Touch [u](D) to toggle the memory group between RT1–
RT4 and RT5–RT8.
Touch one of the memory keys, [RT1] to [RT4], or

[RT5] to [RT8](D).
• The TX/RX indicator lights red.
• The TX contents are displayed beside the "

(C) to return to the "M-2" screen (Menu

For your information
When an external keypad is connected to [MIC] con-
nector on the Controller, one of RT1 to RT4 RTTY
memory contents can be transmitted while the RTTY
decode screen is selected in the RTTY mode. (pp.
