Deleting the recorded contents (audio)

Push
(C) to enter the Set mode.

SET
Touch the "Play files" item of the "Voice Memo" Set

mode.
( Voice Memo > QSO Recorder > Play files)
• If the specified item is not displayed, touch [∫] or [√](D)
one or more times to select the page.
• The folder list is displayed. (The folders are automatically
made when recording starts.)
• The folder name is formatted yyyymmdd (y: year, m:
month, d: day.)
Touch the folder including the file that you want to

delete.
• The file list is displayed.
• The file name is formatted yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss (y: year,
m: month, d: day, hh: hour, mm: minute, ss: second.)
Touch the file that you want to delete for 1 second.

Touch "Delete."

• The confirmation screen "Delete file?" appears.
Touch "YES."
y
• The selected file is deleted.
Push
(C) to exit the Set mode.

When you want to erase all audio files in the folder at
one time, select "Delete All" in step t above.
The L, R, C or D in the instructions indicate the part of
the controller.
L: Left side, R: Right side, C: Center bottom
D: Display (Touch screen)

IC-7100 is two months old. Power suddenly cut off. Fuses are OK. No obvious damage internally. Can something with the control head cause unit not to power up?

Yes, a control head issue can cause the Icom IC-7100 to not power up. The control head receives power through the extension cable with shielded RJ45 connectors. If there is high resistance in the power wires or a poor connection in the umbilical cable, it may prevent the control head from receiving enough power to function properly. re ICOM 7100. Digital mode operations leave the mike path inoperable. What protocols are required on the DV USB computer/transceiver cable? Transceiver control head display shows USB-D when the intent is USB.
