This section describes the pin of the 8/10-bit A/D converter.
■ Pin of 8/10-bit A/D Converter
The analog input pin is also used as a general-purpose I/O port.
● AN pin
When using the A/D conversion function, input to the AN pin the analog voltage to be
converted. To use an AN pin as an analog input pin, write "0" to the bit in the port direction
register (DDR) corresponding to that pin, and the value corresponding to that pin to the analog
input pin select bits (ADC1:ANS). A pin not used as an analog input pin can be used as a
general-purpose I/O port even when the 8/10-bit A/D converter is in use.
