default-information originate

Configure the FTOS to generate a default external route into an OSPF routing domain.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
default-information originate [always] [metric metric-value]
[metric-type type-value] [route-map map-name]
To return to the default values, use the no default-information originate
command.

Description
Displays the amount of time configured for the HELLO interval.
Displays the amount of time configured for the DEAD interval.
Displays the IP address of the designated router.
Displays the IP address of the Border Area Router.

information must always be advertised.
metric-
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword metric followed by a number to
configure a metric value for the route. The range is 1 to 16777214.
type-
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords metric-type followed by an
OSPF link state type of 1 or 2 for default routes. The values are:
map-
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords route-map followed by the name
of an established route map.
Introduced on the Z9000.
T + (router can support TOS)
T - (router cannot support TOS)
1 = Type 1 external route
2 = Type 2 external route
