Permit a BACKUP router with a higher priority value to preempt or become the MASTER router.

Syntax
preempt
To prohibit preemption, use the no preempt command.
Defaults
Enabled (that is, a BACKUP router can preempt the MASTER router).

priority

Specify a VRRP priority value for the VRRP group. This value is used by the VRRP protocol during the MASTER election
process.
