Error Message
Multiple CLPR numbers are existing in
the specified volume, or you tried to
register a volume different from the CLPR
number of an existing volume. In one
journal, more than one CLPR numbers
cannot be existed.
The number of Preview data may have
exceeded the limit, or too large number
of data is selected.
The specified function is not supported
by the current microcode version.
The current microcode version of
DKCMAIN does not support Add Pair
(Paircreate) operations, Resume Pair
operations, and Change Pair Option
operations using the emulation type of
the specified volume.
The current microcode version of
DKCMAIN only supports OPEN-V as the
emulation type of a journal volume.
There are two or more kinds of emulation
types that cannot be combined, in the
specified volume. Or you tried to add a
volume which cannot be combined with
the emulation type of the existing volume.
The journal volume cannot be deleted,
because the mirror status of the journal

Check the status of the specified master

Recommended Action
Check the CLPR number of the specified
volume and the CLPR numbers of volumes
if it is already existed. Specify a volume
so that there is only one CLPR number in
the journal.
Check the amount of the Preview data.
If the amount of the Preview data is too
large, clear the Preview data by clicking
[Apply], and then retry the operation.
If the amount of Preview data is small or
there is no Preview data, too much data
is selected. Reduce the number of data,
and retry the operation.
Check the microcode version of the
DKCMAIN, then contact HP Technical
Support.
Check the microcode version of
DKCMAIN. To use other emulation types,
please contact HP Technical Support to
update the microcode version of
DKCMAIN.
To use a mainframe volume as a journal
volume, please contact HP Technical
Support to update the microcode version
of DKCMAIN.
Check the emulation type of the specified
