5.6 Winder

5.6.1 Setting the winder

(1) - Bobbin winder flap

Proper setting
The winder cuts off automatically when the bobbin is filled to approx.
0.5 mm below the edge of the winder. The bobbin should be wound
cylindrically.
Setting minor changes in the filling amount
To set minor changes in the filling amount:
1. Set the bobbin winder flap (1) using the screw (2).
Setting major changes in the filling amount
To set major changes in the filling amount:
1. Remove the winder lid.
2. Loosen the screw (4).
3. Turn the switch cam (3).

Only set the winder with the machine switched off.

• To set a larger filling quantity: Turn in arrow direction B
