4.2.4 Setting the horizontal position of the throat plate

Proper setting
In X direction:
In the loop stroke position – or slightly further – the needle shaft (2) should
be distanced 0.3 mm from the right side of the throat plate (1).
In Y direction:
In this direction, the needle should plunge into the center of the throat
plate.
To set the horizontal position of the throat plate:
1. Press the Lift/lower sewing head
 The sewing head lowers.
2. Press the O button.
 Threading mode is switched on.
3. Loosen screws (3) and (5).
4. Set the position of the throat plate (4) accordingly.
5. Tighten screws (3) and (5).
