3.2.12 Robot settings

Robot settings can be accessed via the Settings view menu in AX Manager. The contents of the view varies depending
on the robot communication mode.

Without slopes / Entire
This feature allows the user to change how the weld data aver-
weld
ages are calculated: with or without the slope phases in the
Default = Without
beginning and in the end of the weld.

This setting affects the calculation of the averages for the fol-
lowing: welding voltage (terminal and arc voltage), welding cur-
rent, welding power and wire feed speed.

Note: The date and time settings are not affected by the NTP
(Network Time Protocol). The user must set the correct date and

OFF/AUTO/ON
When ON is selected, the coolant is circulated continually. When
Default = AUTO
AUTO is selected, the cooler starts to circulate coolant auto-
matically when welding starts and continues for some time after
welding. When the system has cooled down, the cooler stops
automatically.
Start/Cancel
The date and time and the calibration information of the pre-
vious calibration is also shown. Refer to "Calibrating welding
cable" on page 94 for cable calibration.
Makes a backup file of the system settings to a USB memory
device.
Restores the saved system settings from a USB memory device.
Start/Cancel
Performs a full reset to factory settings.
