2. Disconnect the blue/green lead of the
thermostatic switch and ground it to the
motor body.
If the electric fan turns, it is in good con-
dition and instead, the thermostatic
switch is considered to be faulty. Re-
place it and check that the fan rotates.
3. If the fan does not turn with the thermo-
static switch lead being grounded to the
engine body, check if the fan relay clicks
when the relay lead is grounded.
If not, replace the relay and make a
check again before replacing the thermo-
static switch.
4. Replace the thermostatic switch with a
new one, as necessary, and tighten it to
specification.
Tightening torque:
15 Nm (1.5 m·kg, 11.0 ft-lb)
2. Debrancher le fil bleu/vert du thermo-
contact puis le mettre

se met en marche,

defectueux.
Changer le thermocontact
puis contr6ler si le ventilateur se met en
marche.
3. Si le ventilateur ne se met pas en marche
lorsque le

si le relais de ventilateur emet un claque-
ment quand on met son

la masse.
Si le relais n'emet pas de claquement, le
changer puis recontr6ler avant de passer
au changement du thermocontact.
2. Desconectar el conductor azul/verde del
conmutador termostatico y conectarlo a
tierra en el cuerpo del motor. Si el
ventilador funciona, entonces esta en
buenas condiciones y en cambio, el
conmutador esta defectuoso. Cambiarlo
y verificar si gira el ventilador.
3. Si el ventilador no funciona con el
conductor del conmutador conectado a
tierra en el cuerpo del motor, verificar
si el rele del ventilador golpea cuando el
conductor del rele esta conectado a
tierra.
Si esto no ocurre, cambiar el rele y verifi-
car nuevamente antes de reemplazar el
conmutador termostatico.
