4. Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise,
and align the T mark on the flywheel
with the stationary pointer. This places
the front (#1) piston at top dead center.

Pull the cam chains, and keep them taut when
turning the crankshaft.
5. Turn the front cylinder intake and ex-
haust camshafts by hand so that the cam
Jobes face each other and the punch
marks on the end of each camshaft align
with the marks on the camshaft caps.

4. Tourner le vilebrequin
a
gauche pour
aligner la marque "T" du volant avec
!'index fixe. Ceci place le piston avant

l) au point mort haut.

Lorsqu'on tourne le vilebrequin, tirer Jes
chaines de distribution et Jes garder tendues.
5. Tourner Jes arbres
a
cames d'admission
et d'echappement du cylindre avant
a
Ja
main pour mettre Jes lobes de came face
a
face. Les poinc;ons des extremites des
arbres
a
cames doivent etre alignes avec
les reperes des chapeaux d'arbre
a
cames.

4. Girar el ciguenal a la izquierda y alinear
la marca "T" de! volante con el indica-
dor fijo. De este modo se ubica el piston
trasero
(#
1) en el punto muerto supe-
rior.
NOTA: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Mantener Ja cadena tirante mientras se hace
giar el ciguenal.
5. Girar con Ja mano Jos arboles de levas de
admisi6n y de escape de! cilindro delan-
tero de modo que se enfrenten !as sali-
entes de levas y que !as marcas de
punz6n en el extremo de cada arbol de
levas se alineen con !as marcas de los
casquillos.
