When sending a fax message using the ADF, the machine can stamp a circle
mark at the bottom of the original. This stamp indicates that the original has
been successfully stored in memory for Memory Transmission, or that it has
been successfully sent for Immediate Transmission.
Hint
When the stamp becomes lighter, replace the cartridge. ⇒ See "Replacing the
Stamp Cartridge" on page 220.
Restriction
This machine stamps only when the original is placed in the ADF.
Hint
If a page was not stamped even if the stamp feature is on, re-send the page.
The User Parameters (see page 203) can be used to switch the stamp feature on
or off. This parameter setting can be overridden by pressing the Stamp key. The
default setting is Off.
Press the Stamp key.
Each time you press the Stamp
key, the indicator toggles on and
off. When lit, stamp is on.
