Use to send 2-sided originals from the ARDF. Both sides of a original can be
scanned. The front and back of the scanned original will be printed in order, on
separate sheets at the other end. Notes, however that the orientation of alter-
nate sheets will be reversed at the other end.
1 Place an original on the ARDF and select any scan settings you require.
2 Press [Mode].
The Transmission Mode menu ap-
pears.
3 Enter the "2-Sided TX" function num-
ber with the number keys.
4 Press the

the first page you want scanned both
sides.
5 Press [OK].
6 Press [EXIT].
The initial display is shown.
Hint
"2-Sided TX" is shown on the display. If you set up another advanced trans-
mission function(except Polling Reception), "Other" is displayed.
7 Dial and press the Start key.
Use to send book originals from the exposure glass. Pages are scanned in the
order shown below.
Note that depending on the paper sizes available on the destination machine,
the message may be reduced when printed.
