If the Receive File indicator is blinking , a message has been received and
stored in memory with Memory Lock. To print the message out, see page xx.
If lit , a message has been received but could not be printed for some reason.
The message was stored in memory with Substitute Reception. When you
solve the problem, the message will be automatically printed out. The table
below lists some problems that could have caused Substitute Reception to
take place and their solutions.

Solution
Add paper.

A cover other than the ADF or front
cover is open.⇒ Close the cover.
* Press [Previous] to return to the
last menu.
* Items that are currently se-
lected appear highlighted.
* Press the [OK] key to accept
the new settings.
Note that the changes will not
be made if you do not press the
[OK] key.
