3 Configuring a New G700 with an S8300 (Primary Controller or Local Survivable Processor):

Click the Browse button for the first field.

The S8300 displays the Choose File window, which allows you to select files from your laptop.
Locate the .tar file for the latest S8300 software.

Click the Browse button for the second field.

Locate the .tar.gz file for the latest MultiVantage software.
6.
Click Load File.

When the files are successfully transferred, the system displays the status screen.
Check that the Status box displays OK.

Install Software on the S8300

Once you have transferred the updated S8300 software file (with a .tar extension) to the S8300 Media
Server, the software is then available to be installed.
Note: You cannot install the MultiVantage software in the same way.
