5 Upgrading an Existing G700 with an S8300 (Primary Controller or Local Survivable Processor):
1 . Check the top of the left panel.
- The Avaya media server you are logged into is identified by name and server number.
- The S8300 media server number is always 1.
Load License File (from Your Laptop)
Begin
In the main menu under Miscellaneous, click the Upload Files to Server (via browser)

The system displays the Upload Files to Server screen.

2. Click the Browse button for the first field.
The S8300 displays the Choose File screen, which allows you to select files from your laptop.

Locate the customer's .lic file.

When you have selected the .lic file, click Open in the dialog box.
