Performance Test

This chapter provides information on how to verify the E5071C performance.

Introduction

This literature provides the performance test procedures for the Keysight
E5071C RF Network Analyzers. The performance test names are listed in
2-1. The test procedures are described sequentially in the following pages.
The test name indicates the tested performance and to which performance
group the tested performance belongs.
Allow the analyzer to warm up for at least 90 minutes before you execute
any of the performance tests.
Perform all performance tests in an ambient temperature of 23 ± 5 ° C
The performance tests should be performed periodically. The
recommended test interval is 12 months.
The test interval depends on maintenance of use and the environmental
conditions under which the instrument is used. You may find that the
interval could be shortened or lengthened; however, such a decision
should be based on substantial quantitative data.
