Performance Test

This chapter provides the outline of the E4980A/ E4980AL performance tests.

Introduction

This chapter provides the performance tests outline for Keysight E4980A/
E4980AL. The performance test names are listed in
descriptions are described sequentially in the following pages.
Allow the analyzer to warm up for at least 30 minutes before you execute
any of the performance tests.
Perform all performance tests in an ambient temperature of 23 ± 5 °C
The performance tests should be performed periodically. The
recommended test interval is 12 months.
The test interval depends on maintenance and the environmental
conditions under which the instrument is used. You may find that the
interval could be shortened or lengthened; however, such a decision
should be based on substantial quantitative data.
