Label
Specifies the administrative Committed Information Rate (CIR)
parameters for the queue. The CIR defines the rate at which the
system prioritizes the queue over other queues competing for the
same bandwidth.
The operational value derived by computing the CIR value from
the administrative CIR and PIR values and their corresponding
adaptation rules.

greater than the administrative rate specified using the rate com-
mand.
max —
less than the administrative rate specified using the rate com-
mand.
closest —
closest to the rate specified using the rate command without
exceeding the operational PIR.
Specifies the administrative Peak Information Rate (PIR)
parameters for the queue. The PIR defines the maximum rate
that the queue can transmit packets through the switch fabric
(for SAP ingress queues) or out an egress interface (for SAP
egress queues).
