Initialization Sequence
An initialization sequence occurs when the library powers-on or when you

The MPC/MPCL card directs the initialization sequence, which consists of:
• Initialization and calibration of robotic mechanisms
• Calibration of the vision system
• Testing of robot motion
• Testing of hand assembly
• Audit of tapes within the library
• Drive targeting and check for "in flux" condition on DLT drives
• Audit of reserve cells
