Entering Configuration Data

Library Worldwide ID

When a library has a Fibre Channel interface, the library's worldwide ID
identifies the library as a node on the Fibre Channel network. The ID is
automatically displayed when you access the Fibre Channel Interface
Configuration Menu. It cannot be changed.

Network Gateway

A network gateway in a large network allows devices on one subnet to
interface with devices on another subnet. This is a four-byte address and must
be specified by the system administrator.

When Done

After you have completed the network configuration:
• If you have not changed the library's network and DNS configuration and
you are not setting other configuration values, press the

• If you have already changed the library's network configurations, SCSI ID or
Port 0 address, and you are planning to exit the Main Configuration Menu at
