Configuring the Subsystem
This chapter describes how to configure the L180 Tape Library and its
associated tape drives for operation.
Configuration data consists of library settings, client network connections, along
with the number and types of tape drives. The library and its associated drives
must be configured:
• During installation
• When the MPC/MPCL card is replaced
• When a drive is added to or removed from the library
Note: Microcode is factory-installed on all new machines and resides within a
