• SNMP software application
You can also use any SNMP application to change some of the agent's
settings.
You must be MIB-aware and refer to the Lseries.mib for specific
information.
The library comes configured with some default settings shown in

Table D-1. SNMP Default Settings

Starting SNMP

To start SNMP for the library, you need to:
1. Configure the library:
a. Enable the agent.
b. Add recipients to the trap list (if needed).
c. Make any optional changes to the default settings.
2. Re-IPL the library.
Note: You must re-IPL the library for the changes to take effect.
