Chapter 6. Boot Options

To use the Boot Options commands, you must be logged in to the switch as the
administrator. The Boot Options commands provide options for:
 Selecting a switch software image to be used when the switch on the next reboot
 Selecting a configuration block to be used when the switch on the next reboot
 Downloading or uploading a new software image to the switch via
SFTP/FTP/TFTP
In addition to the Boot commands, you can use a Web browser or SNMP to work
with switch image and configuration files. To use SNMP, refer to "Working with
Switch Images and Configuration Files".
The boot options are discussed in the following sections.
