Ignition Coil - TGB BLADE 600 Service Manual

IGNITION COIL

• Turn the ignition switch OFF.
• Disconnect the ignition coil 2P connector.
• Check for loose or poor contact on the ignition coil
2P connector.
• Connect the ignition coil 2P connector.
• Turn the starter motor more than 10 seconds and
then check that the MIL light.
• Turn the ignition switch OFF.
• Disconnect the ignition coil 2P connector.
• Check for continuity between the ignition coil
connector terminal and ground.
Connection: Red (+) － Ground(-)
Standard: No continuity
• Crank the engine with the starter motor, and
measure the ignition coil peak voltage at the
ignition coil 2P connector.
Connection: Red (+) － Black/Yellow(-)
Standard: 0.7V
• Check for resistance between the ignition coil
connector terminal and ground.
Standard: 0.63±0.05Ω
