4-1. FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
INSPECTION
• Start the engine and let it idle.
• Confirm the injector operating sounds with a
sounding rod or stethoscope.
• If the injector does not operate, replace the injector.
REMOVAL
• Disconnect the injector 2P connector.
• Remove the bolts and fuel rail assembly.
• Remove the injector from the intake pipe.
INSTALLATION
• Install injector on the intake pipe.
• Being careful not to damage the O-ring of injector.
• Install fuel rail assembly and tighten the bolt.
TORQUE: 120 kgf-cm
• Connect the injector 2P connector.
