Response Error Correction for Transmission Measurements

2. Select the type of measurement you want to make.

3. Set any other measurement parameters that you want for the device measurement: power, number of
points, IF bandwidth.
4. To select a response correction, press:

CALIBRATE MENU
5. Make a "thru" connection between the points where you will connect your DUT.
NOTE
Include any adapters or cables that you will have in the device measurement. That is,
connect the standard device where you will connect your DUT.

6. To measure the standard, press:

The analyzer displays WAIT - MEASURING CAL STANDARD during the standard measurement. The
analyzer underlines the
error coefficients.

Do not use an open or short standard for a transmission response correction.
