RS-232 ACK NAK Enable
212
This enables/disables the ability of the scanner to support the RS-
232 ACK/NAK protocol. When configured, the scanner and/or host
sends an "ACK" when it receives data properly, and sends "NAK"
when the data is in error. Selections for this option are:
Disable
Label Transmission — the scanner expects an ACK/NAK
response from the host when a label is sent)
Host Acknowledgement — Enabled for Host Commands (the
scanner will respond with ACK/NAK when the host sends a
command)
Label & Host — Enabled for both Label Transmission & Host
Commands
To select the option for RS-232 ACK NAK Enable:
1. Scan the SWITCH bar code.
2. Scan the desired option from bar codes below and on the fol-
lowing page. You'll need to cover any unused bar codes on
this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only
the bar code you intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the SWITCH
bar code.
