Checking the CAN bus

NOTICE

Risk of damage to unit
The power supply MUST be plugged in and switched on when cables
are attached and plugged in. For example, if no power cable is
connected to the DX91 ceph, the module has no ground connection to
the unit and there is no potential equalization. If the CAN cable is
plugged in, the CAN transceiver (IC on the DX91) can be destroyed by
the voltage difference. In other words, when the unit is switched on, CAN
cables may only be plugged in on modules that are connected to the
power source and ground.
For troubleshooting, you can disconnect the CAN bus cable and/or plug
it back in and observe the (unit's) behavior.
