Running directory/file-based replication

Viewing replication status

Replication of individual directories or files occurs only when a CLI
replication command executes after a backup completes. The CLI
commands for replication can be run individually through the DL3D
CLI interface or by executing a post-backup script on the host that
includes these commands.
To initiate replication of a directory, execute the following command:
syscli --replicate nas --name <NAS share name> --path <directory path
to the share>
Note: If a directory is supplied, the replication is recursive so that all files and
sub-directories are replicated.
To initiate the replication of an individual file, the entire path to the
file must be specified in the replication command with the filename.
syscli --replicate nas --name <NAS share name> --path <directory path
and filename>
To monitor the replication status, the following CLI command can be
executed:
syscli --getstatus trigger --source | --target
"Replication commands" on page 198
to access the DL3D CLI and includes additional replication CLI
commands.
You can view the replication status on the source replication pages.
The Source Replication pages differ depending on the type of data

provide information for your specific data type:
Viewing the replication status of a virtual tape library
Viewing the replication status of a NAS share
Configuring and implementing data replication
Managing Data Services
