Accessing utilities

166 EMC DL3D 1500 and DL3D 3000 Administrator's Guide
To access the Utilities page, in the contents frame, click Utilities.The
management frame displays the Utilities page. The Utilities page
contains:
Firmware
Analyzer
Diagnostics
Node management
License keys
Use the Firmware Upload page to upload a new firmware image to
the DL3D 1500/3000 appliance.
To upload a new firmware image:
1. Access the Utilities page.

2. Click Firmware.The Firmware page appears.
3. Type the location and filename of the new software image.
Note: Use Browse to locate the new firmware image.
4. Click Upload to place the new software image in a temporary
area of the system.
A Successful Upload page appears indicating that the firmware
has been uploaded. Click OK to continue.
5. Click Activate to activate the new firmware image or Remove to
remove the firmware image from the system.
An Information page appears indicating that the firmware has
been either activated or removed.
6. Click OK to return to the Utilities page.
The DL3D appliance will use the new firmware image the next time
the system is rebooted.
