To cancel a pending action:
1. To reduce the number of tape cartridges displayed on the
Pending Actions page, enter a barcode that the system can use to
filter the tape cartridges. For example, entering LTO in the
Barcode Filter edit box displays only tape cartridges with
barcodes beginning with LTO.
2. Select the checkbox next to the barcode with a pending action you
wish to cancel.
3. Click Cancel Action.
The Devices page is used to control the mode (online or offline) of the
attached physical libraries and tape drives.
Physical libraries and drives will not be displayed until they have
been integrated using the Physical Device Discovery page (see
"Discovering physical devices" on page
The Library page allows you to turn the library online or offline.
To access the Library page, on the Devices page, click Library. The
Library page appears.
The Library page lists all of the configured physical libraries on the
DL3D system. The Library Name, Current Mode (online or offline),
Model, Serial Number, and Media are displayed.
To turn a library online or offline, select the library and click Apply.
The library mode is changed to reflect the new online or offline
status.
The Drive page allows you to turn the tape drive online or offline.
To access the Drive page, on the Devices page, click Drive. The Drive
page appears.
The Drive page lists all of the configured physical tape drives on the
DL3D system. The Drive Name, Serial Number, Tape Drive Type,
Current Mode (online or offline), Mount State, Mount Count, and
Library Name are displayed.
