To access the Command Line Interface:
1. Connect the service laptop and the DL3D server using the serial
cable and run HyperTerminal with settings 115.2 Kbaud, 8 data
bits, no parity, and no flow control.
Note: You can also access the server through the SSH client using an
Ethernet connection.
2. Select the login type and enter the appropriate password.

Note: You can also access the command line interface by logging in as the
root user through the /opt/DXi directory.
The syntax of each command is displayed in the next sections. The
following are the conventions for the syntax used.
You must prefix the option names with double dash "--".
You can type the option name or specify a value following it.
You must replace option values specified in angle brackets "< >"
with appropriate values.
You must specify optional parameters in the brackets "[ ]". If an
optional parameter is not specified, the CLI provides a default
value for it.
The pipe character "|" indicates that you must specify only one of
the possible option name or values. This is like an OR symbol.
Description
The cliviewer user can only retrieve
information and cannot add, change, or
delete information using the commands
on the command line interface.
The cliadmin user can add, change, or
delete information using the various
commands on the command line
interface.
