The boot disks consist of two hard drives (in a RAID 1 configuration)
installed in the front of the appliance engine. These hard drives
contain the DL3D 1500/3000 system software. The details for the boot
drives show the partitions and storage devices configured on the boot
drives.
Each partition status is shown in the far right-hand column.
Normal indicates that the partition is operating within normal
operating parameters.
Failure indicates that the boot drive containing this partition has
failed and must be replaced.
The compression adapters provide a hardware compression
capability for the DL3D appliance. The DL3D 3000 server contains
two compression adapters (compression card 1 and 2); the DL3D
1500 server contains only one compression adapter (compression
card 1).
Each compression adapter status is shown in the far right-hand
column.
Normal indicates that the compression adapter is operating
within normal operating parameters.
Failure indicates that the compression adapter has failed and
must be replaced.
Missing indicates that the compression adapter has been
removed.
The appliance engine contains two Fibre Channel adapters with Fibre
Channel ports. Each Fibre Channel adapter is shown as a link in the
Name column with the Status shown in the far right-hand column.

within normal operating parameters.
Failure indicates that the Fibre Channel adapter has failed and
must be replaced.
