3. Optionally add a username with password for the share on the
DL3D.
4. If you added an optional username for the share, add this
username to the Administrators and Backup Operators group.
5. Under Device Manager/Services, edit all Backup Exec services
except the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers to
run under the domain login account.
a. Open the Windows Services directory and stop all Backup
Exec services.
b. Select Backup Exec Service.
c. Under the Log On tab select This account and type the media
server's username and password your media server uses to
log in to its domain.
d. When all necessary edits have been made, restart the Backup
Exec services and exit the Services directory.

6. Launch the Administration Console.
7. Create a backup-to-disk folder under Devices > Backup-to-disk
tasks.
a. Specify a name for the folder.
b. Type the path to the CIFS share.
c. Change the maximum size for backup-to-disk files as desired.
(Recommended size is 2000.)
d. Select the Allocate maximum size for backup-to-disk files
option to enable it.
e. Modify any other folder parameters to desired values.
8. Start a backup to the CIFS share.
