Viewing virtual tape libraries

Deleting a virtual tape library

5. Return the DL3D 1500/3000 virtual tape library to the online
state. The section

The virtual tape library is updated.
To access the Virtual Tape Libraries Configuration page, click
Virtual Tape Libraries located at the top of the Virtual Tape Library
page. The Virtual Tape Libraries Configuration page appears.
The Summary page displays the maximum number of virtual tape
libraries, the maximum number of tape drives, and the number of
assigned tape drives. The Summary page also provides a list of
configured virtual tape libraries on the system. Select a virtual tape
library in the Name column to edit it.
Note: Click this information icon
information such as the policy-based backup window, start and end times,
and the replication schedule.
You cannot delete a virtual tape library which has media in it. You
must first delete the media and make sure that the virtual tape library
is in offline mode. To delete virtual media, see
actions on the media" on page
To delete a virtual tape library:
1. Set the DL3D 1500/3000 virtual tape library to be deleted to the
offline state and remove any media that is present in its drives.

2. On the Virtual Tape Libraries Configuration page, click Delete.
3. Select the virtual tape library to delete and click Delete.
4. Click Yes to confirm the delete operation.
The virtual tape library is deleted.
