To enable replication on a NAS share:
1. On the Source Role page, click NAS.
The Source Role NAS page displays the available NAS shares
that are enabled for de-duplication. The page also displays the
current replication status for the share and information on the
most recent replication that was run.
2. Select the NAS share to replicate and click Edit.
The Edit Replication page appears.
3. Select Enable to enable replication. To schedule a time to replicate
the namespace, select Replicate daily at and enter the date and
time to send the namespace to the target.
Note: Replication of the checkpoint should be scheduled to run after
backups, de-duplication, and replication of the unique data are complete.
If you do not specify a replication time for the namespace, it will be
necessary to perform an on-demand replication to obtain recoverable
images of that share at the target system.
4. Click Apply. The Source Role NAS page appears.
To enable replication on a NAS directory/file:
1. On the Source Role page, click NAS.

that are enabled for de-duplication. The page also displays the
current replication status for the share and information on the
most recent replication that was run.
2. Select the NAS share that will contain the directories or files to
replicate and click Edit.
The Edit Replication page appears.
3. Select Enable to enable replication.
4. Select Enable Directory/File Based Replication to target Sync
ID.
5. Type the target Sync ID that was configured on the target system.
