Managing targets

Viewing target usage

Note: You must add a SAN client to the SAN client list before you can
associate a SAN client group with a virtual tape library.
To add a SAN client:
1. On the SAN Client Access page, click SAN Clients. The SAN
Clients page appears.
2. Click Refresh SAN Clients to display the available hosts.
3. For a Fibre Channel host, type the World Wide Port Name
(WWPN) in the WWPN box.
4. Type an alias for the new host in the Alias box.
5. Click Apply to add the host.
The new SAN client is added.
Use the Target page to view the current target (Fibre Channel)
configuration.
To access the Target page:
1. On the SAN Client Access page, click Target.
The Target page appears.
2. Click the Type list box to view the Fibre Channel targets.
The Fibre Channel targets display the Node, Alias, and WWPN for
the currently configured targets.
Use the Target Usage page to view the current target and device
mappings for the node.
To access the Target Usage page:
1. On the SAN Client Access page, click Target Usage.
The Target Usage page appears.
2. Click the Node list box to view the Node target mappings.
